What GavelSearch Is

GavelSearch is a public court records search tool covering Lehigh and Northampton counties in Pennsylvania. All data is sourced from the Pennsylvania Unified Judicial System (UJS) portal, which is publicly available information.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google, we store your name, email address, and profile picture. This is used solely to identify your account and save your search history.

Search history. Your conversations and searches are stored so you can return to them later. Only you can see your search history.

Usage data. We log basic request information (timestamps, query types) to monitor performance and prevent abuse. We do not track you across other websites.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the search service
• To save your conversations and watched dockets
• To send email notifications about docket changes (if you opt in)
• To prevent abuse and enforce rate limits

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties
• We do not use your data for advertising
• We do not track you across other websites
• We do not store your Google password

Data Retention

Your conversations are stored until you delete them. You can delete individual conversations or all history from the settings page. Account data is retained until you request deletion.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
